How to give a relevant feedback?

Before you even start writing your feedback, you should keep in mind that the purpose of feedback is to help the recipient to progress.

To be effective, feedback must include the following elements :

  • Objective facts

  • Strengths

  • Areas for improvement

  • Suggestions

In concrete terms, this is what it looks like:

"The format of this presentation is quite attractive and quite clear. I find it relevant to have used a chart to outline the different functions within a company. It makes it easier to understand. The downside for me would be a lack of content, when for example the group mentions the different types of companies, it would have been relevant to give a definition for each and illustrate this definition with an example."
