How to interpret and receive feedback?

Giving constructive feedback is not easy, but receiving feedback can also be difficult.

Here are some tips on how to make the most of the feedback you receive:

1. Listen to or read the feedback all the way through

Even if the feedback contains negative criticism, take the time to look at it as a whole and analyze it to try to understand the sender's point of view.

2. Receive the feedback positively

Always assume that the feedback is benevolent (it will be the vast majority of the time). This will allow you to understand it better and ask yourself the right questions.

3. Take it into account if you think it is relevant.

Once you have taken the feedback into account and analyzed it as a whole, you can extract the information that you consider useful for progress
