What is the difference between a cross assessment and an intra-group assessment?

Peer assessment involves two types of activity

- Cross assessment, which is a process in which participants respond individually or in groups to a given set of instructions, then assess the work of the other participants on the basis of criteria defined by the teacher.

- Intra-group assessment takes place after a group work activity. Participants assess the members of their own group with whom they have worked, focusing on behavioural criteria rather than the work produced.
